AQUASKY MASTERBLASTER
A: SOUNDBWOY
AA: PERCEPTION
STREET DATE: NOVEMBER 22ND
DISTRIBUTED BY SRD
The original release of this dropped in April 2002 to a massive reception and sold exceptionally well as the limelight was shining on Aquasky for the debut Masterblaster LP 'Beat the System' on Botchit and Scarper. This 12" sold out within the month and to this day has never been repressed. But as the label and Aquaskys popularity expands we at Passenger have decided to do a limited repress for all you newcomers to the scene and for those of you who slept back in 2002.
Club support for this 12" back in 2002 came from the likes of Will Saul, General Midi, Orbital, Plump DJ's, John Stapleton and our main man Tayo over at Kiss FM. Comments worth mentioning are:
'Excellent as usual' SOTO Botchit and Scarper
'Solid groove to keep any dancefloor locked tight' Vigi TCR
'Going to rock floors' Andy Gardner PLUMP DJS
'I will be putting this in my bag' Phil Hartnoll ORBITAL
'Monstrously awesome. Aquasky MB at their very best' THE EGG
'Intense stuff' John Stapleton BLOWPOP
'Both tracks are pure energy, something Aquasky are masters at' Jay Cunning BREAKS FM
'Kills it everytime. Very tasty indeed' Future Funk Squad. EN:VISION
'Lot of respect for these bwoys' Pressure Drop
'Love this' Klaus 2 SINNERS
'Nothing prepares you for it' Will Saul
The remixes of these tunes by The Freestylers and The Autobots sold out within the first week of its repress so move quickly and grab a slice of the UK's breakbeat history all packaged up with new artwork and sleeve.
