The first Passenger release by Backdraft for 2005 and this time they team up with fellow Manchester collaberator 24KT Gold who delivers a truely original vocal. This tune has a strong euphoric feel which is grounded by a devil of a bassline morphing subtly next to the crisp beats. As always, Backdraft are able to keep the dancefloor bubbling by their excellent ability to retain some serious funk and soul to their production.
On the flip we have the Survivor dub (watch out for the vocal mix which will drop on Passenger later in the year). This is pure club mayhem and follows strongly in the footsteps of their breakbeat anthem 'Labrat' which came out on Passenger last year and was supported by everyone in the scene.
