First released in 1999, Passenger Records have been lucky enough to unearth some of their original catalogue from a dusty distributors warehouse somewhere in the UK.
The Hightower Set originally recorded for Bob Jones Black on Black label just after Aquasky's Brent and Dave departed to sign to Moving Shadow. They also worked with Kingsize and Dust2Dust before joining Passenger for 2 EPs in 1999.
Mainman Greg Belson is one of the countries top funk collectors and this shines through with pure choice samples and heavy drumbreaks. A far cry from new school breaks but certainly masterful breakbeat mixed down in the Aquasky studios as they were writing their Aftershock LP.
