Breaks, house, techno, garage, dubstep, hip hop, drum and bass... If its got
that bounce, Baobinga will play it, and he'll probably do a not-too-terrible
job at producing it too. Just as his sets take the best bits from pretty
much all genres of dance music and make them work together, Baobinga's tunes
are released on a variety of top drawer labels (Supercharged, Hardcore
Beats, 777, Fusetrax to naame but a few) and played by big DJs from all
styles. As well as support in the breaks scene from the Freestylers, Hyper,
The Breakfastaz and Atomic Hooligan (not to mention a couple of Breakspoll
nominations in the 2005 awards), people like Andrew Weatherall, Way Out West
and J Da Flex also rinse Bao Beats. Even computer geeks get on down with the
Baobizzle Shizzle - Baobinga and ID's massive 'The Feeling' was snapped up
by EA for their FIFA Street game and is currently doing the rounds on a
couple of million Playstations.

Based in Manchester, in the past 12 months Baobinga has assaulted the
eardrums and caused outbursts of booty-shaking in America (twice), Canada,
Germany, Hungary and Spain, as well as numerous gigs round the UK -
including the legendary Fuse. BBC Radio 1 also came a-knocking in the form
of a 30 minute mash up mix for Annie Nightingale. Current and future plans
include more electro-funk-breaks collaborations with 30Hz (their
Supercharged release was a favourite of the Plump DJs), continued forays
into other styles and more trips to far-flung corners of the globe.
